SOFI’S THIRTY DAY RETREAT: THE END IS THE BEGINNING…

by

Sofi came out of retreat last Sunday. The retreat had been a time of great blessing for her. It was lovely to see her glowing with joy as she greeted her FCJ companions. Today, one week later, Sofi has just arrived in Ende. She will spend about three weeks on mission, helping wherever she can. She will go out into the local neighborhood to visit our neighbors and spend some time in far distant parishes. Sofi will also help to teach the children who come to the community twice a week. Thank you for your prayers, you really helped to carry us through. We continue to keep you in our prayer.

Thank you, Clare, for your regular updates. I has been wonderful to accompany Sofi at this time. I will certainly keep up my prayers for her for the weeks and months ahead.

  2. Margaret Claver Says:

Praise be to God for this great journey which Sofi has undertaken. It seems that like Marie Madeleine, having rallied at the foot of the Cross she now goes to proclaim the Risen Christ in Ende. May Sofi’s time there be blessed. May her presence there with our sisters be a blessing for all. Thanks Clare for keeping us up to date.

  3. Beatrice Molyneux fcJ Says:

So very happy to hear how much Sofi gained from her experience. I have really felt included in her journey and your own Clare. During Sofi’s last days I attended the Vows of Teresa in Limehouse. What a joy. Try to get some rest yourself. United in prayer.
