WORKING WITH NOVICES – CELEBRATING THE FUTURE OF RELIGIOUS LIFE

by

For the whole of this week Lina and I are taking part in a residential course for novices “Working with the inner self.”  The group comprises twenty novices from nine religious congregations and their formators.  I really enjoy times like this – working with young religious and helping them to discover and love their inner selves and unlock their inner potential.  It is great working alongside other formators – it gives me a deeper sense of the beauty of religious life.  Sitting in the meeting room watching and listening to these new religious I am filled with great hope for the future of religious life.

    Dear Clare,
Thanks for sharing this. Indeed it is full of hope for the future. I’m so glad that you had this experience. Blessings on you and all involved in initial formation ministry.

Dear Clare, what great experiences our novices are having. It is great to hear of this. I am going to the Benalla CiM’s tomorrow to give them a retreat day and chose as the topic “God loves you into loveliness.” It is built around what I feel were some of the content of the work with the novices. I see by all this that you have got right back into life after your hoe break. United in companionship,
    Joan fcJ
