This is a week filled with joy for FCJs.  In different parts of the FCJ Society there will be celebrations relating to final vows. Today, Easter Monday, April 9th the FCJs here in Yogyakarta had a Mass of Thanksgiving for Sisca’s final vows.  This celebration was especially for Sisca’s family because they were not present when she actually made her final vows in Melbourne earlier this year.  We had a lovely morning.  Fr Supriya, the celebrant, spoke encouragingly of the importance of prayer, community, justice and gentleness for all of us.  He blessed Sisca and asked God to be with her throughout her life.  Sisca returns to Myanmar early tomorrow morning.  God bless you Sisca!

There are also two actual final vow ceremonies this week: MaryAnne in Liverpool, England, on Tuesday 10th April and Van Van in Manila, the Philippines, on Saturday 14th April.  Please give thanks with us for our three new finally professed FCJs and also please keep Sisca, MaryAnne and Van Van in your prayers.
