The other day I attended a special Eucharist in remembrance of a local priest who had died very suddenly a year ago. The service was deeply moving and it was obvious that he was deeply loved by all those who knew him. This man was in his fifties and in the best of health. He died because of a road accident…There was no way it could have been foreseen or avoided. This man made a big difference to the people who knew him, he was truly a servant of God and a witness to his faith. I realised at that service how important it is to make each day count, to live each day to the full…and for us to do what we can to be of service to others…
