AN UNEXPECTED WELCOME…

by

Today I went to a village with one of our sisters to visit a student.  The student was not at home and as we turned to go an elderly woman from the house next door came to meet us.  She invited us in to wait and gave us tea and snacks. When the student we were waiting for arrived home she gave us all lunch.  I was so deeply touched by the spontaneous welcome we received and by the generosity of the woman who wanted so much to give the best she had to us.  I truly met God in that woman’s house today.  I hope I can be as generous and welcoming as she is…
